I designed and developed an immersive virtual art gallery showcasing the works of contemporary artist Daisuke Kondo. The gallery features a curated collection of Kondo's sculptures and drawings, presented in a minimalist museum environment built using Three.js. Visitors can walk through the gallery in first-person view to see Kondo's sculptures as 3D models and their drawings displayed on the walls. Visit the Virtual Gallery.

I've been a big fan of Kondo's work since discovering their illustrations when visiting Kyoto. The name "Magic Power Mystery Museum" on the front museum wall is a nod to Kondo's 2021 zine "Magic Power Mystery Zone". This project was inspired by Shutdown Gallery, which showcased art in virtual spaces during the pandemic. I like how virtual galleries create new ways to experience art, breaking free from physical constraints while maintaining the contemplative atmosphere of a museum.
